Jumping to sol

Is it possible to get to sol? Just kind of curious, loving this game and its vastness!

Yes it is there are wormholes in riftspace that lead to Sol. Been there multple times enjoyed the view.

You can get there the long way also. Put the Sol cords in your nav panel and with lots of fuel jump till you get there. I have done it both ways.

The first time I took the long trip to Sol I figured out it'd take a half hour of real-time to get there from the closest system. I left my ship on auto-pilot and went and did some other things for a while. I came back to the computer just in time to see myself jump into the side of Jupiter
