Familiar story, I would imagine - heard about Evochron via postings on other gaming message boards, tried the demo, got hooked and bought a license before the demo time limit had even expired.
I just love this game. I hear it's the work of just one person? If so that's astonishing! I've had a good old fly around, just about managed to get to grips with not flying into planets when using the FD, did some mining....I suppose I should actually read the manual now to find out what I'm supposed to be doing!
Isn't there any Xfire support? That's a shame; it's good (free) advertising for any game that has it. Plus, what with the game having a multiplayer component, it could really come in handy too.

I'm getting to grips with things, now. I found the first beacon, then found the second and realised it'll be a long time before I can meet the prereqs! Time to get to work! Really, really enjoying the game though.
