New meat

Hi, all, I just got the game last night and having a blast.

Still trying to get use to the game such as finding hidden containers though it is tough even with a 90+ skill scientist pointing the headings.

Anyway, I have questions about MP. When in MP and I got KO'd from PvP, what happen afterwards? Do I respawn with the same ship w/ the same cargo and equipments or need money to replace it?

I ask this because I just got a shiny new Raven and considering going to MP for combat "training".

No penalty for dying ... same as in single-player. Killing others while in MP, on the other hand, affords you bragging rights ... something you don't get in SP.

Hello prastagus, welcome to the forum and the Sim. You have the option of reverting to your last save point or quiting the game when you die so save at a point you like.

Let me jon the others in welcoming you Prastagus.

MP is a wonderous place, but also can be very daunting at first. Generally stay in Sapphire on the SW server to practice - it's a safe area.

Babylon 5 however is a no rules server, and fresh meat like yourself is almost unresistable to pilot like The Romulan!!! But be advised that clans like NS are out there to help pilots like yourself, so never be afraid to call for help.

Enjoy the experience of a great MP game and a particularly friendly forum.

Thanks everyone for your welcome and advises. I don't think I'm ready for Babylon 5 yet so I'll stay in SW server for a bit for now.
