I bought a new joystick today... a Logitech Extreme 3d pro. Not what I wanted, but it was the only stick I could find out of the two Best Buys I went to (I had a best buy gift card). I'm too impatient to order one online and don't know the address I'm moving to in a few days anyways, so I just bought one. Looking forward to seeing many of you in MP =)
What happened? Best Buy used to have a ton of great sticks...

Yeah, they used to but the two I went to didn't carry anything other than the logitech. It turns out I can make profiles though, so that is some consolation; the stick I wanted did not have that option. This stick happens to have a few more buttons too and is a little meatier and squatter, which is nice because I tend to get a little excited and with my old one I had to hold the base of the dang thing or else I would knock it over.
Played a little tonight until I tried to autopilot to the riftspace gate and hit an error. Now I'm just going to see if I can make a profile that will allow me to engage a complicated maneuver (my signature backwards circle) with the push of a button and a little tending of the stick.
