Beacon ?

I have found the first beacon on Sapphire planet, and some nearby containers, what do I do with the beacon, doesn't seem to be targetable like a ship?

Thanks, seems getting almost to bumping distance to beacon retrieves the message.

Because It is a secret message. Must be hard to find and read

Try Legends' beacons. Close to it is not enough to read its message

Any special heading for the beacon once on the planet base?
Is there more than one thing beside the beacon on the planet?
