Does the new Beta pass the test?

Post by xman1 »

I was looking to do some videos of the combat in Evochron Legends, though it would look more fitting with the military ships in the war areas.

Some alternate cockpits would also be a bonus if some of them could be incorporated into the build. I've seen a few, but little info on them. I'd be curious if they replace all cockpits, or just the frame they are associated with?

Let me post a beta combat vid. I think I can pull that off tonight. This won't be my best performance, and I would rather do something without the canon mod since it almost feels like a cheat, but it will let you know what I am shooting for in a vid.

Here is my first test video. I'm not being particularly aggressive since this is more a test, but, I will make one where I'm all over it.

I already sold the canon upgrade. I will do it without the canon upgrade when I'm ready.

Very nice, good framerate and sequence. Custom cockpits can be used globally or assigned to specific frames. The customizing kit provides details on setting them up both ways.

Believe it or not, it is a hacked TIVO. I have it hooked up to my vid card, so anything I do is recorded in full without worry about CPU. I have a Ethernet card crammed onto the TIVO mainboard and a Ethernet cable heading to my router for file transfer. It's a good setup since it is an independent box away from whatever it is I am doing so it is not subject to the whims of a program like FRAPS, which is dependent on your system for file storage and screen capture.

I thought you were in a turret, not in a space craft ;)
