Mission: Transporting to another ship.

Beginner here. I have tried the mission from the starting station to move items to another ship in space where you drop the items under the ship, so far mission will not complete. I have been less than 300 units from the ship and dropped the items, at 300 I can use the up camera and I am below the ship. I have tried dropping items on other side of ship with raised structure (maybe this is the bridge), still mission does not work. I have tried trading the items ship to ship, can trade but mission does not complete. What do I need to do to complete this type of mission?

Hi Kimlyn, welcome to Evochron Legends and the forums!

The most likely cause of your woes is that you are dropping the cargo at the wrong ship. The ship that you want is the ship at the waypoint. When you accept the mission the game automatically sets your waypoint to the ship you need to send the cargo to. When you accept the mission, just jump and you'll be at the required ship. Then, just drop the cargo beneath the ship.

The ship I see each time is a very large capital ship, does this sound correct, it is the closest ship to the waypoint?
Or maybe it should be a smaller ship?

What method did you use to deliver the cargo? Did you press J to jettison it, or did you click on it?

I found the best way to complete this type of contract is to dive underneath the ship, then fly up into the center of its belly. Press the J key ... if that doesn't work, get even closer to the ship's center. It's highly unlikely you can get too close (and crash into the ship).

Pressing J works best because you can keep an eye on your position relative to the ship.

clicking on it destroys the cargo rather than jettisoning it, hence there is nothing for the ship to pick up cause you've destroyed it.

hint:
jettisoning your cargo eejects everything you have and the ship will have no qualms about picking it up, so make sure your cargo hold its empty b4 taking on the contract
