Hey guys,

I finally found a way to get online but i have to host in either to do it... i'm trying to get to rucker and in need of an escort, i have a dedicated server open under the name "Valhalla" my name in the game is Hawk, until someone logs in i'm pretty much going to sit at a base as i get blown up a fair bit trying to cross to rucker.... any assistance is greatly appreciated...eclipse, if your reading this, i'm not sure if u remember me or not lol its beena while but i used to fly with you... join the server if you get this.... until i see someone i'm going to be waiting there..... hope to see someone soon...

I bet he forgot to click on the "list public" or whatever it says!
Funny tho, he can host, but can't join an existing server. Sounds like a porting problem to me, but then, what do I know?

guys...no disrespect...flame me all ya want but fact of the matter is...i did list it as public but only had one guy join so far, i did hit connect and its up and working....i'm in the server....as far as i can't connect...yeah it messed up....truly honestly messed up and aggravating me off but thats bout all i can do....all welcome in the server...providing it even shows up...i've been havin nothing but nightmares trying to get online....

hey eclipse server ip is 72.139.0.178 i'm stuck in rucker with no fuel and surrounded lol..

its weird tho if it aint showing up... i just hit refresh and its there...i'm also on renegades if that makes any differnce... just stuck in rucker here still...if u can get in let me know...if u manage to get in and i'm not answering....i'm passed out on the keyboard or something lol

Right nightowl84, no-ones trying to upset you, just trying to help.
I'm sure Vice can better help you than we poor chaps. And I'm sure he will!
I had a major problem connecting to the game myself years ago and it was due to incorrect port settings.
Might not be your problem, but then, maybe?

Probably people using legends are looking for the server!
But if the Server is running Renegades, legends will not see that server!

So you guys have to use Renegades to help him out, unfortunatly I will not be able to help,
I'm leaving for vacation tommorow for 10 days.

My apologies all, I guess i took it wrong, I was in a bitter mood most of the day trying to figure out why i can't play online. I'm pretty sure its a port problem but i'm not real sure how to go about allowing the ports on an SMC modem.

ANyhow we managed to get online and it was fun. Thanks Eclipse and Accountant for helpin me out on there. I will most likely be having another server up and running today for anyone wanting to join... It's a Renegade Server.

Heck, if I had known you were trying to join the Renegades server, I could have given you the exact IP addy to type in.
Sorry, but I thought you were talking about Legends.
Alas, DeepSpace Nine has been abandoned & lost it's stabilizers and now floats aimlessly thru space. She had a good run, but all good things must come to an end.
She will be missed but fondly remembered:)

I for one vote that there be a DS9 station somewhere in the next game ( possibly deep in the cold depths of space), in remembrance.......

I think that's the way to go, niteowl84.
Beleive me, abandoning DeepSpace Nine was very difficult, but there just wasn't any traffic on Renegades:(

In answer to Verb's post, I agree. Perhaps, if we live long enough, DS9 might be found, empty, dead, but still operational in the vast reaches of Evochron space!

You can find another server over there, also you can create one.
But of course, Legends has most popular one, always good to play a game its time. Have to buy imo.
