repair question

I see the cost to repair my ship goes down the longer I am docked. How does that work?

Your repair system is reparing your ship while you're docked, hence, reducing the cost to repair it.

Of course. And the better is the repair time, the better is the system level.

An engineer aboard can further improve the repair time as well as enhance your power management, reducin jump recharge time and maximising weapon fire.
