Question on the new version

Post by outfctrl »

I bought Legends when it first came out and installed it on my system. Do I take the new version I downloaded from here and just over write the old version on my system?

If so, what about the code to activate the game? I cant find the one that was issued to me.

Thanks all

Yes, simply run the new .exe file you downloaded from here and install it to the same place you installed the older version of the game. Some files will not be overwritten, including your profiles, configs, etc. and you will not need to reactivate the game.

If at any time you DO need to reactivate the game (e.g., for a completely new installation on a different computer or hard drive), all you need to do is email Vice asking him to send it to you.

Yup, just run the installer and install it into the same folder. If you need to re-register it, just use your same key to convert the demo back into the full game (your key is permanent). If you've lost your key, just send me an e-mail and indicate the name/e-mail address used on the order and I can forward a copy of the registration to you.

Thanks Wasp and Vice for the quick reply. Great game by the way. Wish I could play online, but I am still learning.

When I get better I will. I also bought the TrackIR 4 Pro and it works perfect with the game.
It feels so real the way you can look around while piloting your craft.

Yes, TrackIR does add quite an element of immersion and sense of realism. It's neat how can 'look down at your gauges' literally, then look around to follow a target you're trying to track.
