Hi all im new in the game.
I have been palying for 3-4 days and it seems impossible to find a place to buy a tractor / mining beam.
Do I have to be in a rank or something to be able to buy one? Is the tractor beam the same for mining too? I want to do one of the "pannel cleaning" missions but I can't without one. Thanks for any info

Yes, the beam is the same for minning, and if you check all stations in Saphire you should be able to find one! Check stations in astroid fields and nebulaes or close to stars.

And if you cannot find one in Saphire, check out rucker system where there are lots of astroids for minning so you should be able to find one there!;)

I've had to restart the game a few times - and, I've found that it is impossible to get a tractor beam early in the game. I've always had to wait a bit until it becomes available at a station, that includes Pearl, Rucker, and Lost Rucker.

It seems to take a few hours of gameplay before the tractor beam becomes available, meanwhile you can make some money trading various "for sale" items with Saphire, and other systems.

You could always cheat a little by going into MP (multiplayer) and seeing if some kind soul will gift you a tractor beam.

No need for cheating. I just thought that I was doing something wrong and i wouldn't ever find one.

Nah, you weren't doing anything wrong. When new items become available at a station a message pops up, on screen, to tell you. It doesn't tell you what the new items are, you have to visit a station to find out - good luck & welcome to the game, and the forum.

Stealth device is easy to find, try finding an uncharted system with a high level economy in the middle of nowhere. (250 or more sectors away from anything)

Aaah you guys, those are all very easy to find!, I still got to find me a itsy bitsy tiny little wabbit. Been hunting for months in Evochron Legends. The only thing I found close to resembling one was some childish graffity in an Astroid Cave! LOL:P:P:P:P
