Newbie-ish needing Help

Hey all,

I'm fairly new to Evochron (Legends is my first game, I've owned it for roughly two weeks, not been playing much due to revising for exams at Uni this week), so I apologise for being another mewling newb needing help.

I've mostly been making money through mining and shooting up the occasional Guild ship that I've managed to upset. (This is in Rucker)

I've been hearing of the gate to Lost Rucker and am wondering if anyone would be willing to point me in the right direction (Or give me the sector coords through U2U

) - Nevermind, I just found it

I've also been haunting the SW server for the past wee while, helped out someone who was more of a newb with my little profit strategy for Sapphire (Platinum Mining and selling at Rivoch) so that he can get his ship upgraded (His pilot name is freerad, mine is Raven) - once I find Lost Rucker I'm going to see about taking him down there, and I have another friend who should be heading online at some point who would benefit from it.

I'd also like to ask what benefit the various crew you can hire are? (And if there is some sort of 'Propsector' officer who could increase the rate of high value minerals being harvested and auto discards the pretty much worthless Metal alloys)

about your guild upset, you should do contracts for all to incress your reputation. don't forget to check the compotion section.

good, you found the lost rucker.

wow, a newbie help someone:o

the benefits are listed when your mouse is over hire. skill is how well he dose his job, loylity is how long it'll be before he quits.

Well, to be fair, as I understand it the Guild usually has you shooting up the Navy, something that I may not necessarily agree with (I like the local law enforcement, even if they seem a bit thin on the ground in Rucker/Lost Rucker)

I'm loving this game, can't wait to see what other hidden goodies there are for me to discover (Next step - Mantis JD)

And DX101... I'd just like to say that I'm sorry for your loss, you have my sympathies and condolences. Lost two older relatives of mine within a month of each other a little earlier this year.

Welcome.

Crew members:
Navigation - Prevents you from suiciding while jumping.
Engineering - Repairs your subsystems (faster) when damaged.
Science Ops - Finds interesting locations.
Weapons - Increase weapon efficiency.

Remember, crews like being overpaid.

I'm still trying to get the crew to overpay may for giving them food and shelter and a job opportunity and training in this jobless low economy market! Have not made a dime so far! LOL:P:P:P:P:P
