How do you know which ship is which?

New here and quite confused.

How do I get a transporter ship???
And does it really matter since the max cargo holds you can get for any ship is 5x25???

Which ships are fighter?
How do I get them?

Also another question: What does V stand for when you scroll over a weapon. And where is the amount of damage that is does? Thx.

Sorry for the noob questions. Read the manual but didn't seem to find anything.

What do you mean by transporter ship? You mean to transport people?
To transport people you can use any civilian ship you can transport up to four people if you do not have a crew.
The total amount of people including crew is four! Any Civilian ship can have five cargo bays and can be used to fight.
So there are two main categories of ships for players to aquire! Civilian and Military. Military do not have cargo bays and no crew and there fore can not transport people! Military ships you get by doing missions and contracts in warzones the more missions contracts you complete the higher your rank the more advanced the military ship you can get!

And the V I think is the scroll down arow, I'm not sure never payed close attention to it!;)

Thanks. What i ment was Y Yield??? What is that? Where can I tell what weapons are powerfull and which are not.

Can I have more then 2 primary weapon points?
And if I have a military ship, where do I store the loot that was left from the destroyed ships?

If by transport ship, you mean a capital ship, you can't acquire those... this is a smaller ship simulation. If by transport ship you mean something that can haul cargo, you simply build what you can afford with the capacities you can afford. Maximum cargo bay size for a frame is 5 bays, 25 units each.

You can design a civilian ship to do well as a fighter or you can buy a military fighter craft. You have to buy those as well and earn a military rank to gain access to more powerful military ships.

Maybe 'Y'? Y is yield, which is how much damage they do.

Higher rank earns more access to more powerful spacecraft.

Where are they stored?

You can store them, fly them, or buy them from Alliance war zones onboard carriers (land inside them, click on Shipyard).

You can install a cannon relay system, which effectively doubles your particle cannon barrels, so in effect, you get 4 particle cannon barrels and 2 beam barrels used by 2 primary weapon classes.

You don't. Military ships are for fighting, not cargo hauling/recovery. It's a good idea to keep some civilian ships on hand for any cargo activities you might want to do. You can store ships and cargo inside hangars.

Yield is the amount of damage they do and you can tell by their class C. ussually the higher the class the bigger the yield damge they can do!

No, missions or contracts in the warzones.

THey are stored and can be aquired on Military Battle cruisers

With military ships you can not store loot they are mainly for combat! they have no cargo bays!
