For Renagades it is the DS9 Server, and for Legends it depends on time of day and prefferences of the players, but it Looks like SW is the Favourite!;)

I play Legends. Have a really nice joystick and love space combat sims, but so few good ones are on the market, so when I saw this and actually got to demo before coughing up the cash, I was jittering with glee. Thanks for the server info.

If you have the Saitek X52, be prepared to unplug it from the USB port once in a while and plug it back in, There is a minor glitch with this controller in Evochron Games. The Joystick will not center its controls sometimes while your in the game!;)

It's a Logitech (God bless them) and thus far not a single problem. I wouldn't say it's nice in expensive and blingy, but it has 14 buttons, three axis, and a HAT. It works well for my uses. Thanks for the warning though. Hope to get shot down by you one day.

I have failed on some contracts because I couldn't locate enough, or any hostiles, and in searching for them I jumped out of the patrol zone and failed my objective.

#1 is there a time limit for meeting the contract ?
#2 what is the limit of the patrol zone ?
#3 are there any tricks to making the sneaky buggers come out to play ?

Hope someone can shed a little light for me

1 - No, take as long as needed.
2 - The same sector.
3 - If they run away/hide, check the perimeter around the waypoint at a range of about 30000-50000 using a circular search pattern. They will often try to hide at that distance.

Nice tactics by the wabbit! There are lot of Magic Helmets in Evochron, so looks like hidding in wabbit holes is not going to help against Magic Helmets!LOL:P:P:P

I spent a lot of time watching those cartoons while growing up. That was before the liberal establishment decided there was too much viloence and forced them off the air.
I must be a paragon of virtue since I have not hit anyone over the head with a 500lb hammer.

Just go to Earth and mine platinum and diamonds. It may take a while to get there but platinum can be anywhere from 20-50k and diamonds can fetch nearly 30k.

Hi scudFDL, Welcome to Game and Forum! You can make around 200k on platinum in Saphire safe system at Station Rivoch. You do not have to travel al the way to Sol for just 20-50k. However there are more lucrative oppurtunities in Sol to make more like in the millions of credits!;)

You just totally made my day.

I've been mostly sitting on a planet surface next to a city gathering resources and then (using minimal fuel - not that it matters but I can't help myself) hopping up onto the city to sell, for some reason I swear they pay me more each time. Perhaps that's rep based?

Hi guys, new player here. Just bought the game, but still haven't received confirmation.

Anyway, in the demo I'm having trouble with those "Recover a lost cargo" missions. I go to the waypoint where the cargo is supposed to be floating around, but I don't see anything on Radar.

Do I need some sort of special equipment to target cargo canisters?
