well we've had a screenshot one, so how about a mod one?
3 catagories:
1. Military ship
2.HUD and/or cockpit
3. Misc object
rules:
1.anyone can enter
2.links to downloads must be posted here ( u2u me and I'll happily host the files if needed
)
3.the files must already be EL friendly, and they must not have been shown on the forums before
4.Files must be your own work
I'm putting 1 Billion into each prize pot for each catagory

Here is my EL friendly mod, but darn, it is not my own and it does not fly but sure is the most EL friendly you can ever get!

I will send 1 military ship, one cockpit, one warship or ship-wreck.
I don't want any prize, also I want to add 750.000.000 credits if Verbosity allows me for winners...
All pilots will win after the end of the contest.
What is the deadline of it I want to ask.

For newbies to mod making like myself, does anyone have any good links for Evochron mod-making? Things specific to Evochron, as well non-specific primers on 3D modeling, etc, would be awesome for myself and anyone else unfamiliar reading this thread

no program needed for that, find the image you want to use, copy it into the EL dir, open up the universe file and type the filename of the image into the "MoonText=" for the correct moon.
Please note this wont work in MP with normal universes, but once the dynamic universe comes out of beta there should be a function to allow custom stuff like that in it

Should have done, it can go in the 'misc' catagory though. you need to supply a download for it to be entered though............

You can do anything imo, misc catagory is little flexible.
For this reason Verbosity called it "misc".
