Demo doesn\'t allow to save progress?

Hi, is it me or is the demo not allowing to save progress? I've exited my first game making sure I pressed "quick save progress" and when I opened the game again I was back to square one.

Did you select the same pilot? I never had this problem before, so I am pretty sure even the demo saves.

The demo does save, unless you were on a contract and hadn't yet completed it. Saving is also not available in the training mode.
