sometimes when I'm testing, or waiting for other pilots to join I'll 'idle' for a while, this usually consists of point at a station several sectors and coasting there in ful inertial.
I've just been doing this from fauston gate to sapphire, and I must be crossing some sort of 'jump area' for capital ships, they just keep appearing traveling at roughly 90degrees to me, sometimes its scary and I have to take emergency action, but mostly I just get to enjoy the view as they coast past me ( and you would not believe how close most of them are!)
Anyway I thought it was pretty cool and thought I'd pass it on

Yes I noticed this to, this is happening to me in Orion Delta were I try to do my planet jumping and where I have set my jump coordinate to jump onto the planets city docking bay! Every once in a while a Capital ship just jumps out of warp right in front of me and pushes me a way from my set coordinates and I have to manuever back to the jump point!LOL:P:P:P
