What you could try is: as you approach the wormhole, hit your jump button (F2), that should carry you through - it might take you several attempts until you find out just how close you can get for the jump to work. Mind and save before your jump, and DON'T save immediately you are through it, just in case you are in an area of lost space.

Have your shields set to max "[" and your shields prioritised toward the nose (keypad 8).

Are you right clicking on the wormhole in your nav map? You right click once, to bring the area to maximum observation, and then right click again, on your target designation. This is a useful procedure for getting to stations, and jumpgates, as it brings you right on to them, saves wandering about trying to line up.

I doubt that the wormhole will take you to rift space, as that is a jump gate, and takes 70 Alt F2s to get there.

Good luck.

Remember: when you jump, you actually appear a certain distance away from the target waypoint.

So, what you want to do is set your waypoint such that you appear in the wormhole when you jump.

Yes, depending on your distance from the Wormhole ad between 1/100 to 4/100 of the distance to the designating Coordinates, the further you are the les the amount to add. If your distance x=10,000 y=0 z=-10,000 and your designation target x=0 y=0 z=0, add 4/100 to each coordinate in distance enter for jump coordinate x=-400 y=0 z=400. If your distance is x=80,000 y=500 z=-80,000 and designation target is x=0 y=0 z=0 add 2/100 to the distance of each coordinate so your jump coordinates will be x=-1600 y=-10 z=1600. And make sure your shields are at maximum. With a little practice you can set a nav point and then calculate your jump from that nav point and jump through without any damage!;)

target the wormhole by right clicking it in the navigational panel. Then set turn on your autopilot so it points you toward it. Then close the navigation panel and turbo to maximum speed toward the the wormhole. Watch your distance to the nav point. When you hit 3500 hit f2 and jump into the wormhole. You will take damage as you go through the black hole.

I played with the jump co-ords until I jump into the middle of the BH/WH which jumps me again. Plenty of deaths until you get it right, but you never take damage. Was annoying to figure out the distance behind the co-ords the fulcrum drive drops you at.

This all seems a bit more complicated than I thought.

I point my ship to heading zero.

Then, I right-click the bh/wh.

Then, I change the z coordinate so it's z+2500 (seems to be the distance between the jump coordinate and the point of entry)

Then, I jump. I usually take some damage, but I end up right in the middle of the hole.

That is exactly how I came up with the calculations for the coords to jump without damage!;)

So what if you take some damage? If you power toward the wormhole and jump at 3500 you shouldn't take much. You should have a repair system anyways, and it'll be fixed by the time you reach the next station. There's risk in everything you do.

Save before you attempt the jump just in case you screw it up.

Depends who or what is waiting for you on the other side if you enter with some damage with energy and shields low from the jump you are an easy target for any one waiting for you on the other side!LOL:P:P:P

Did this Planet jumping thing only work in Renagades old version, or also works in Renagades new versions and Legend?.

I thought I was succesfull only once!, Was not abble to reproduce it in newer versions or in Legends but the Wormhole/Blackhole technique still works! Maybe there is something wrong with my version of the Game! Any U2U about how this is done would be appreciated!;)
