Hi All,
I just purchased the EL about three hours ago and I must say I'm impressed.
So far, all I've done is the tutorial and some mining.
My question is:
Is it possable to suppress the "Cargospace not available for material" messages you get while mining?
Thanks in advance to enyone taking the time to respond.
Shadders.

Hello Shadders, welcome to the forum and the game. I'm not sure if that's possible by itself but others may have more knowledge than I. Stand by and help will arrive.

Hello and thank you
I don't think you can supress the messages, but you can use the * key on the numeric pad to clear them from the screen. I usually just ignore them while mining then clear the screen before heading off.

Hello and thank you
Yeh but pressing * all the time is rather painful...
A better way is to have another panel that opens that has all msgs on it you can scroll through and delete what you don't want, or more importantly, scroll back and reread something you missed. Call it communications, Com or something.
Would be alot easier, more useful, and would be better than just giving an option to disable them.

Hello and thank you
A one key option could arguably be considered 'easier' than having to open a separate console display, then manage scroll arrows along with additional delete/retrieve functions.
Painful? Not really, when enough messages appear that you longer want to read, you only need to press a key. Alt-numpad \\ retrieves them without needing to opening a separate console display.
