no struts

I did a quick search but cant seem to find how to turn off the struts in Hud view. I did see a nice image on my search here but not the info how to instigate it.

Help?

From the instructions:

- Some players may prefer a bubble canopy for the cockpit, rather than the default design with struts. To remove the struts, create a text file in the game's folder with the filename nostruts.txt and save the file. Simply delete the file to restore the struts.

You simply place a file named nostruts.txt in the game folder. You can download a sample mod at this link, including removal of the glass frosting: http://www.starwraith.com/arvoch/nostruts.zip

For EL, you can choose in the options menu...

No need text file...

It's a good thing, too. Cuz the struts in EL are dang ugly. Big thick repeating texture. Ick.
