Intro and question

Hey all,

I'm another new player to EL. I have been playing about a week now and I thought I'd say hello!

This is my first space sim, I think it's great so far. I am most impressed that one guy has done all this. Well worth the $25 to support this accomplishment. Vice, nice job my friend!

I have also noticed that this community is quite eager to help us new players which is quite refreshing. Friendly too.

I do have a question, my version needs to be updated to the latest build 1.028 I think..

How does one go about doing this? Do I just install over top of what I have? Remove old build then reinstall? Vista if that matters.

Please tell this ripe noob what to do.

Hello Filthy Hobo, welcome to the forum and the Sim. Yes install the new build over the old. It will only replace items it needs to without messing with your pilot and map files. I keep a copy of old builds in case I need to go back a step as Vice advises. Hope to see you in MP play in the future.
