Another new player!

Hi everyone,

I bought this last week and have spent today getting settled in.

I just wanted to say a big thanks to Wam and [SW]eclipse for showing me the ropes.

I'll be on the main server for most of this weekend.

Thanks everyone, and thanks for everyones help last night and yesterday.

I've got a few questions:

1) I bought an Excalibur missile pack this morning. How does it work? I've got it sitting in one of my cargo holds, but it doesnt seem to be regenerating my empty missile hardpoints. I have 8 empty ones.

2) I also picked up a Stealth generator from the same station. How do i use it?

3) I'm sure i've killed several reds in my time playing, but my kills still show 0. Bug or is there something else i need to do / check? - I'm looking at the news section in F3 for the number.

Welcome!

1. put it in a missile slot, when you fire a missile you'll fire 8, 30 seconds later you'll be able to fire again

2. place it with the rest of your equipment, when you have full shields and energy hit 'e'

hmm, did you save after you got the kills, and where there any other non-reds near you?

green ships will help out in a fight and might get the final blow. also players could be helping too, they are yellow ships cos like yellow NPC's you dont know if they are friendly or hostile.

anyway, once you get that excaliber pack running i'm sure you wont struggle to rack up a kill count

I prefer to hide in Ace's thread than make my own.

I will probably buy the game later tonight or maybe tomorrow since I shouldn't play until after I take a test. Anyways....I look forward to lots of fun and getting to know people around here as it appears a very friendly bunch.

Welcome Hockosi, hope you decide to buy Legends, it's definitely well worth the money. When and if you do, hop on to multiplayer, there's usually a few of us on and we'd be more than willing to help get you started.
