hi!
I've been having fun but I'm totally lost in space now and I can't find my way home or anywhere.
I was around Rivoch and I went through the jumpgate into my worst nightmare - like 30 enemies firing missles at me, so I alt f2'd and it put me around more enemies so I did it again and now I'm nowhere. I zoom all the way out on the map and there's nothing. I'm in system T888 and don't know what to do. I have 400 fuel and a fulcrum C3 drive.
Anyone want to help a poor sap get home?

lol
Using profile system (different save slots) to easily back up for unexpected situations is a good habit.

Having a system that you can't jump into limbo would be convenient...

Indeed, one of the risks of travelling in open space, is open space itself. Getting lost in deep space can happen. However, you can help track down your location to get the direction you need to go by viewing the quadrant map and comparing those sector coordinates with your current location. Just line up to the nearest solar system to your location and head back.

Thanks my friends.
It was fun.
Good to see new pilots out there.
I remembered my "lost in space" days...
