New Player Question

Post by outfctrl »

I bought Legends Saturday and installed it. I have to admit, I was very impressed. It is a little overwhelming of all the stuff you have to do, but that's ok, it will be fun learning.

I have an X52 Joystick/Throttle, plus I also ordered the TrackIR last week, so I should receive it this week.
The set up of the joystick was a little confusing, because it sets up in a certain order. I had to write the order down to set it up, but it worked fine when I finished.

A question.

Is there a way I can download the game manual here at work so I can read it during breaks?

Thanks all

Hope to see all of you in space one day, as soon as I can figure everything out.

One of the things I am looking forward to, is actually managing my ship. I have played allot of space sims that all you do is point in the direction you want to head and get there. This game gives you the feeling of being an actual pilot.

Maybe one day I will be as good as Scully Sullenberger. ;)

Dont be afraid to jump online into a server with some people on it (right click the server to check). people are really helpful and will answer any questions you have while you're playing. i learned some really valuable tips that way. And, since the SP and MP are interwined (unless you get a server that doesn't aloow SP profiles), there's really no point in NOT being on a server imho.
Nothing to lose. lots to gain.

i dunno if it is there, but there used to be in-game voice but it wasn't recommended. there is a teamspeak channel that is often used by some pilots ( i use it myself) not sure where the thread with the details for it is though
