Will the server use multi core CPU's?
I have an i7 quad core here that could be put to good use for a server.

Ill bring down my server for now. Can't get anyone to logon this late. Will try again tomorrow. Appreciate the one that did though.

I didn't enter my IP address. So I did that and rstarted it if you could try now.

Okay, so I've connected, but there are two instances of your server showing up. One of which is showing an internal ip address (192.168.*.*) and the other the actual IP of your server. We'll see how long I stay connected

edit: Not long. I got in, had enough time to type hello and couldn't press enter before I got disconnected.

This time I didn't even get a chance to type hello. I'm not sure what it could be, are you running a firewall/anti-virus on the server? If so, maybe disable them momentarily just to see if that's the problem

Well... i don't know.
It is showing 2 instances of it no matter what. it wasn't doing this until i updated to the new server.
I installed the new server over the old one. I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling.
no matter what, it is showing 2 instances of the server in the multiplayer server list like you said.
The server is up though.

Well, apparently my connection and Computer speed are preetty good. Even Vice was impressed when he logged on.
So, if anyone sees "Southeast US" server online, give it a go for multiplayer. Id like to see just how many people I can handle. Vice seems to think i should have no trouble filling up all 35 player slots.

You most likely did not use the server's 'disconnect' feature when you shut it down.

not sure if its a server prob, but just tried to connect and got a black screen,connected to other servers fine.

I restarted the server because it crashed earlier for an unknown reason. Someone will have to see if it is working now. i am connected via lan.

I'll have it up from about 8am EST to 12 midnight EST (give or take a bit) every day. unfortunately, i can't leave it on 24 hours a day at the moment. It may change in the future.
