Hi ppl,
Im new the the Evochron world and am a happy owner of Legends.
I have tried searching in the forums but I get no results for 'autopilot' or 'auto pilot', same with the FAQ and Instructions manual, so I ask my question:
How can I stop the autopilot from flying me into a planet when I told it to land at a city on the other side of the planet?
It seems to fly me in a straight line.. with little regard for whats there. Im hoping its an upgrade I can buy at a shipyard or some other in-game solution.
And while Im asking questions: Is there a SETA (time shrinking) device a-la Frontier, FFE and X?
Again I can imagine this might be a device I can purchase on some planet somwehere..
Thanks

Descents are manual, as far as I know - you won't be able to autopilot there. You can get your Navigator crewmember to jump you in exactly above the city with some training, and you'll be able to freefall most of the way down.
No, SETA/time-shrinking is not available. If you want to pass large distances in space, you can use the Fulcrum Drive to jump wheere you want, whereever you want.
Welcome, link in your sig sounds interesting, might check it out tonight.

Ah.. thanks the_rami.
I'm learning now that F2 is my friend.. have not worked out what impact it has on my fuel use yet.
As for my Creative Object World, feel free to check it out.. but I have found that being text-based it puts people off.
You type things like:
build a large space station
paint it as gold
go to the station
create a large expanse of marble floor
etc..
..and all of these objects you create are scriptable.
And naturally you can chat with anyone on line and create with them if there happens to be anyone online.
It is not glorious 3D like Evochron Legends.. only in your imagination.

Seems pretty amusing indeed
.
The Fulcrum Drive uses a few units of fuel per jump (5, I think). The class of your drive effects the effective range of your fuel, though, as it still will be 5 fuel per jump (even if you'd jump 5 sectors).
