DEP terminated Legends?!
I am trying to copy and paste my registration key into the first screen. As soon as I paste, the application is terminated by DEP. I am using Vista 64 bit. Anyone else getting this?

I've got no information about why it would happen, but to disable DEP, use the following process:
Click Start
Click All Programs
Click Accessories
Right Click on Command Prompt
Left click on Run as Administrator
Click the Allow button if it asks you for permission
Execute:
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
Hit enter and you should see the confirmation: Operation Completed Successfully
Reboot and DEP should be off.

dep is designed to stop a certain type of 'injection' attack.
in xp you turn it of for all programs execpt windows in control panel _> system _> advanced ( i think )
thats usually the default anyway, check that its turned off except for essential programs and services

Its already set to "for essential Windows programs and services only". I would rather not disable DEP, especially since I don't have any other problems with it.
EDIT: It worked on the fourth try. All I can think of that I might have done differently is used the TAB key to change fields instead of clicking the mouse. Bizarre...

lol I usually print out my things,
There must be a reason for the dep triggering, try reinstalling legends, then disable all your toolbars in your browser, and update your AV and run a virus scan.
I'd be surprised if that worked, but I've known some viruses that utilise copy and paste in browsers, and they mainly occur in browser addons.
