Running Slow

I just bought the game today. When I got to the main menu, the game was running slow and choppy. Any idea how to fix this? I have a ASUS notebook with a GeForce 9800M GT

Notebooks can be difficult, especially if they have integrated video memory (either part or in full). One thing you can try is to switch to a full screen mode (Locked (FS) Max Vsync recommended) and switch to a lower resolution, start at 800X600 or equivelant widescreen and work up from there.
