found a gate

I just wanted to say this game is growing on me.... Very much like elite (which I fell in love with) Just wish I could add some color to my ship. I read the post in which vice said what he was aiming for as far as the game goes and for the most part I agree with him, But I would still like to be able to put a dash of washed out faded color on my ship.... also would kinda like to get paid a few credits for killing the bad guys that attack me constantly and just love to gang up on ya. I'm in a hunter now and was woundering how do I begin upgrading to the bigger models? I'v gone on a walkabout through the different systems but can't seem to find anything bigger then a hunter at best.

I am with you...

My suggestion is, try to finish the game.Find all clues and find What happened to Renegades.You'll find bigger frames on your way.

Finding the Gate to the Lost Rucker system will lead you to some great ship frames and upgrades. Start looking in the Rucker system for the gate...it will pop up as a purple blip on your radar when you are within 10,000 meters. Another good place is the Wolf Zone located thru a wormhole in the Olympus prime system, scout the system to find the wormhole.....The farther out systems also have larger ship frames.

Travel to the higher tech systems in Pearl and hunt around for better frames there. And you can get paid for hostiles you destroy, just pick up any cargo they may leave behind and some of it can be good for several thousands credits. You can even narrow your attacks by using a cargo scanner to determine if destroying a particular hostile is worth the fight. Stay tuned on the other thing you mentioned

Actully I found a wormhole in ruckers I beleve it was but it only dumped me out inbetween systems and left me stranded, had to goback to my last savepoint, tried a number of jumps but even with a c5 jumpsystem I couldent get anywhere....
