I am planning to do some sample fraps using ER but is there a way to remove all HUD? I mean the ship and HUD so I have empty space for more of a movies imaging? A 'out of ship' viwe still has a fixed ship in the middle of the screen.

hi yeah use the v key to get to the second view then hit h (twice i think) to make the hud disappear, h again to make it reappear. just not that you can't fire missiles with the hud off

sorry i misunderstood, check out warsigns post, mind this and asbo's are both good ways of getting shots too

1. Enter the OPTIONS menu...

2. Under the VIDEO/EFFECTS, turn 3D COCKPIT off..

3. Launch the game...

4. Press "H" button (turn the HUD off)...

Now you are flying camera...
