Gauges.txt file question

Post by Tempered »

Hi,

I'm working on a new cockpit for the raven and saber class frames, but I'm having a problem moving the right MFD. Everything moves fine except for the target list/range mode. I can't seem to get it to move from its original position. There are a couple of lines in gauges.txt that don't really seem to do anything. Lines 3,6,9,12,13 in particular. I would have assumed that lines 12 and 13 would move the target list, but no go. I would actually like to change the entire cockpit layout for each data point, but I'm guessing that is probably not possible.

Sooo, if anyone knows how to move the target list or what the mystery lines do, I would appreciate any help you could give.

Lines 3,6, and 9 change the rotational angles of the gauges, takes a substantial value to make a difference since they use degrees. Lines 12 and 13 set the vertical and horizontal position of the 3D radar sphere. Lines 7 and 8 are used to set the vertical and horizontal position of the right MFD (the target detail and range list display). If you're not able to adjust those values, please attach the gauges.txt file you're working with to this thread and I'll take a look.

Vice, Is this the Version 1.508 you mention for download in the other thread or a newer test version?

No, anything over 1.508 is in test build status, not an official release.
