Galaxy creation and events

Hi all.. trying out the demo and am interested. Just wondering.. is the galaxy generation - that is - planets/ planet types/ events/contracts... randomized in any way between games ? Will contracts always be generated on the fly during the game or are they static?

Not randomized (needs to be stable for multiplayer), although randomizing it is possible through modifying the text file. Contracts are generated on the fly during the game and vary based on your reputation and status/events in the system.
