Where next ?

Well its been a long time in the coming ( I first planned this for Evochron alliance).

This is the first draft and is working.

I have one issue work out in regards of a duplication of names, and a verification issue ( due to be fixed with the next update of the game - thanks Vice.)

It's a bit rough - but I want to take a break - its been the last 16 out of 20 hours doing this, I'll make the page look nice in the coming day or so. I'll make the page look nice in the next day or so.

there might also be a possible racing league as well....

Before anyone asks yes there is a slight error - Vice should only have a score of 4, I'm working on the cause of that....... (EDIT - FIXED - i think - I'll be able to check next time I have a log to upload )

its (almost) fully dynamic, once I've been able to confirm that the process has no bugs it will be ( difference between me having to run 4 files and run 1 file on each log upload)......

what? being top already isn't enough?

currently the score is just +1 for a kill and -1 for a death, but I plan of weighting it ( such as in chess or golf ) if anyone plays either of these games and know how the ranking works, please let me know...............

Usually higher than yours but less than twice your score is *1.5, twice as high or higher is *2.0
Equal to your score is *1.
Lower but less than twice as low as your score is *0.5 and lower than twice as your score is *0 (zero)

That's what I learned, anyway.

as a quick update I've made a start on updating the verbs leagues site, the index now includes the (fully operational

)MP League and the playerlist for the 24/7 server.

ok...

Firstly, thanks to Darkreaver, who allowed me to catch a bug in the code.

the league is down for tonight ( well check for yourself if you want to see whats happened LoL)

while I implement some verification code that Vice added to help me avoid the results being broken as it is currently...

while I'm doing this I'll try to implement some code for clan based league scores.

Apologies to those on the board already, but due to the level where I need to check the code, once its fixed I'll have to start the league from scratch ( good thing anyway as [SW] was romping ahead)

EDIT:
LoL for some reason my system really doesn't like you Vice.... ( check the current state of the system.) as yet I've no idea as to how that could be ( thought I had sorted it - but I can't explain one of the results away........)

there is a connection test program Vice created, its meant for people who wish to host but might help you. I'll post the link.

( there is also the bitty in the FaQ - I think the link to the connection test program is there too)

do you use a router pom?

if so have a look maybe your ports are not being forwarded properly....

( I had to turn the upnp on my router to off )

so so the MP league is complete....

i want to add some finishing touches to it ( league by clan, and the ability to change the ordering of the table by kills or deaths).

But what other features would you like to see?
so far other possibilities are including time online, and a racing league

Cool, I've been thinking about that one, I think I can do one that is pretty accurate, since I get a timestamp on the 'entered exit menu' message that usually proceeds the actual exit. EDIT: even better! exit menu includes timestamp too!!!!

I'd expect that to be a feature within the next week, it'll be 'order- able' ( IE you can view the table sorted with the time online ascending or descending) but wont factor into the killscore....
