When TRA starts to fully support Arvoch Conflict, we plan to be 20-40 active members flying it, we will host some various events.
However just a few questions:
Is it possible to permantly switch off the MDTS function, so that pilots who have joined the game cant switch it on, and thereby the auto-aim is off, or is this not seen as a problem when flying MP dogfights?
Is it possible for the Host to decide which weapons is allowed in advance, when pilots have joined the game? (such as Guns only etc)...
I hope you can help out with these Q's..
Looking forward to see you out there...

At that moment, the host can't control things like that. (So usually the players just agree in advance on what weapons are allowed).
Vice could probably add it(if he was so inclined), though.

I think weapons CAN be disabled, MDTS can't just yet. Just ask Vice, he could probably do that. Usually, you should arrange that in advance but MDTS off should be possible to lock indeed...

The MDTS can't be forced off by the host, so it currently needs to be voluntary. Aiming is a lot more difficult when done manually, however there is still plenty of challenge with it on depending on the flying skill of the players in the game.Is it possible to permantly switch off the MDTS function, so that pilots who have joined the game cant switch it on, and thereby the auto-aim is off, or is this not seen as a problem when flying MP dogfights?
Not forced, but voluntary. The host does have the ability to kick players if they violate rules. Is it possible for the Host to decide which weapons is allowed in advance, when pilots have joined the game? (such as Guns only etc)...

If someone were not using the pre-agreed upon weapons, it would be easy to notice.
But there would be no way if someone was using the MDTS. Unless the MDTS allows firing from the ship at an angle (which I think it does) and I guess that could give you away.

It does, it allows for firing at a target in the 'cone of vulnerability' (gunsight), which can be at a variety of relatively narrow angles. But you will likely soon see that the MDTS becomes a very important system as soon as players start improving their flying skill.
