In the Tech Support forum, there is a locked thread for "Question about HOTAS setup to control mouse cursor *INFO*".
Which discusses possible solution via 'menucontrols.txt' .
I am using Steam version of "Evochron Legacy SE", and cannot find that file.
Is this still possible to do?
I want to assign Mouse to TWCS Throttle POV stick. And the Thrustmaster TARGET software is not functioning.
***** EDIT *****
I found that I could accomplish this in menu system.

In Menu Console control, setting Device to the Throttle. And then assigning correct Axis Input, and Mouse Button.
The only drawback, is it does not allow you to select in-cockpit options at top of screen. As you can with an actual mouse.

Re: Question about HOTAS setup to control mouse cursor *INFO*
Manually editing the 'menucontrols.txt' file option was retired in favor of integrating the settings into the game's Options menu. The file won't appear until the 'Menu/Console Control' mode is enabled in that menu. Once enabled, the file is created and pre-configured with default settings. You can then manually edit the file for custom parameters, or simply use the game's menu options to set parameters. With this option enabled, you can control the mouse cursor with a control device any time a menu or console is open. You can then change the axis input channels, buttons, and the device for that input.
The only time you might want to manually edit the file is to apply custom dedicated levels for deadzone and/or movement rate (among the last 5 lines in the file). If you're looking for capabilities beyond what this built-in system offers, then a third-party application might be handy.
These sections of the game's instructions offer some more details:

I do have 'Menu/Console Control' mode enabled. But cannot find said file.
I searched for all .txt files under Steam install directory.
It is now working, I was just curious if adjusting custom settings made the POV stick more usable.

Be sure to look in the game's save data folder, not the Steam install folder. The save data location is \Documents\EvochronLegacySE\
