Hi.
I have been playing tons of Elite dangerous in the past few years, but I grew a bit tired of it, so I decided to give Evochron another shot.
And I'm really liking it so far.
To vice:
If I find any bugs or issues. can I report them anywhere? are you still working on the game? Can I still request improvements if I see room for it? I won't report any large scope improvements obviously, cause I know you won't change the game, but that's ok cause I like it.
Kind Regards

Welcome back. The best route to report bugs is directly via e-mail (starwraith.com > contact including steps to produce and/or a msinfo report if it is system/configuration specific) which is also good for request/feedback/ideas.

You might want to read through the on-line documentation. There have been lots of changes. Two of the biggest are how to go about doing co-op contracts in MP and how to make use of the jumpcaster.

It should be in your game folder. For me, it's C:\sw3dg\EvochronLegacy\ReadMe.htm

Feature and gameplay design objectives (along with the what's and why's of the game's development goals): https://www.starwraith.com/evochronlega ... opment.htm
Online instructions: https://www.starwraith.com/evochronlega ... readme.htm
The 'What is Evochron' sticky thread in this forum ( viewtopic.php?f=27&t=11900 ) also has some useful info.
And be sure to check out the YouTube button at the top of the forum for tutorial videos and some examples of changes/additions (along with relevant visual instructions) since the game's release in 2015.

What's a jumpcaster? I can't find it in the document.

It comes with a Deploy thingamabob. It creates a jumpgate with a 1,000 light year range. Just remember to put the destination coordinates in the Nav windows before deploying the caster.

Yup, and more info on jump casters is available in the instructions at the link above under the 'Building Deployables' part of the Build Console section. For quick reference, here is that part:
"A jump caster lets you travel very long distances to a specified point in space up to 1000 sectors away. The jump caster is linked to your ship's navigation system, so you simply select/enter the destination you want to travel to in the navigation console first. Then deploy the jump caster in the build console to construct it. Flying through the center of the jump caster will then take you to the selected destination."

Take along 50 units of metal to deploy the jumpcaster. Also take special notice of the word "first" in Vice's description if you don't want to waste that metal.

that's cool! Unfortunately I can't use it with my military ship, but on the other hand I like how there's a lot more uses for civ ships in this game compared to mercenary. Gonna have to save some cash for the biggest civ ship available :p.
