Quick Question about the Cosmic Glitch quest
Hey folks. I'm returning to the game after a several month hiatus, and looking forward to finally trying the Cosmic Glitch quest. Just one quick question: is this a really 'build' heavy quest? I prefer to stick to my beloved Nighthawk as much as possible, and don't much relish the idea of flying a dump-truck like the Starmaster around unless I absolutely have to. I realize that I will probably have to ditch my military ship, but can I get through the majority of the quest with one of the lighter civillian models (maybe 2-4 cargo slots max) or or should I just bite the bullet and invest in a mining/cargo-hauler setup?

Re: Quick Question about the Cosmic Glitch quest
IIRC, there is one combat scenario which is a bit difficult. And at least one place where you might need to build a station ... and the "build" objective requires a maximum amount of metal. Mostly, it's an exploration quest where you eventually end up in the boondocks, face-to-face with the Cosmic Computer. But, since you gotta fight your way to get there, you'll probably need a ship which is somewhere between a light fighter and a heavy hauler. With the ability to swap between a potent missile load and a lot of cargo space (mining beam is, I think, going to be required).
I revisited the quest about a month ago, while testing some of the latest additions to the game, and discovered that the enemy owned the first docking location. (Ouch.) So you might prepare yourself for the possibility of switching sides. Maybe more than once. Which, luckily, you can do (I think). Except, of course, when it comes to engaging the Vonari.

Go to SeeJay's website here: http://www.evochron2.junholt.se/ and click on the "Quests" button.
P.S. I also sent him the latest quest and, as soon as he gets some free time, he'll post it (probably in the same place).
