TW Contracts

Post by SolarWarden »

What conditions make TW contracts appear? I built a pretty extensive base on a planet in deep space and mined around for about an hour, was wondering if there's a certain combination of modules or something else I have to build or do to make them start appearing, or if it's just a matter of coming back after server reset.

It's been my experience that they are offered once you've "tamed" the star system. For example, IM has just finished building a city in territory where our faction is in the high fifty percentages. And we picked up two or three TW contracts after about an hour of building.

So I just need to spend time merc-ing enemy ships in contracts to get my control percentage up for that system?

Probably. Either that or find a star system with a station and a city ... where the percentage is already on your side. Keep in mind that, unless there is a station in the same sector, you most likely won't be offered any contracts at all.

I usually toss a station up before I start in on a base. I think it's an OCD thing, but I can't be sure, haha. Easier to line up the compass and hit the jump drive than worrying about atmo entry.
