Do you mean Legacy?
Did you select the X52 profile in the 'Load Control Device Profile' menu, or did you just start the game without changing or binding anything?
You can remap any axis channel as needed. Click on the axis and select which function to change it to.

Ahh ok I have to goto the next page oops thx
Thats ok now but I cannot remap vert or horiz strafe ,at mo they are mapped to rotary buttons which are crap .I try to map to either of the 8 ways ,one on stick and one on throttle but they are not seen .I only have 5 axes working 3 others dont move no matter what i move on the sticks

Yup, there is a main Options menu where you can select the main flight control mode, but also two control specific menus where you can change options with controls (Axis Configuration and Key/Button Configuration). Simply use the tabs along the bottom of any configuration menu to move between them.

Re: X52pro axis are wrong
First, you can clear the buttons if you don't want them to be an input factor at all (click on the vertical/horizontal function in the key/button configuration menu, then click on 'Clear Button', do the same for the other). The POV/HAT on the stick will be a dedicated angular input on an X52 Pro, so you can switch to either the Axis Configuration menu or the main Options menu, then click on the HAT control mode line until it reads 'Strafe' and is mapped to the device ID for the stick. That will provide a dedicated control input option for that POV using horizontal/vertical strafe thrusters. The POV/HAT on the throttle will return buttons and does not use angular signals. For that POV/HAT, you'll need to map its button individually to control horizontal and vertical strafe thruster control. To do that, switch to the key/button configuration menu, click on the desired strafe control function you want to map a button to, then press the button on the control device to map it. Repeat as needed for the other 3 strafe control functions.Thats ok now but I cannot remap vert or horiz strafe ,at mo they are mapped to rotary buttons which are crap .I try to map to either of the 8 ways ,one on stick and one on throttle but they are not seen .I only have 5 axes working 3 others dont move no matter what i move on the sticks
For some HOTAS devices (ones that use multiple USB plugs rather than only one), you'll also need to select which device to map controls to prior to mapping them. This is done at the top of both the axis and key/button configuration menu using the left and right arrow keys. But for an X52 Pro, everything should be on one device, so you can just map directly... unless you have some other game control devices plugged in that displaced the X52 to a different ID position in Windows.
