I have the Steam version of Evochron Legacy and want to move the settings directory to another location but cannot find the savedir.txt file that is mentioned in the stickied post about settings.

It's simply a text file you create yourself if/when you want to change/relocate the save data location. It needs to be placed in the install folder where the game's EXE is located. For Steam, that will generally be \Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Evochron Legacy. Also be sure to move any existing save data files from the old location (default \sw3dg\EvochronLegacy) to the new one (NewPath\sw3dg\EvochronLegacy) when directing the game to a different folder.

Ah ok, thanks! Does this work with the old StarWraith games, RiftSpace, and older Evochron games too?

Some of them yes, from Evochron Alliance 2.0 on up. The really old games that are over around 10 years old or older now, no.
