equipment not available resolved!

After upgrading my talon to a saber, all equipment such as build constructor, deploy constructor, and terrain walker have disappeared from every station in the quadrant including all the high tech stations. Has anyone else experienced this?

Deploy and Build constructors are common in high tech, even in lesser, it depends on the place.
The other devices you speak about are really *rare*.

The availability of TWs depends on which game you're playing. Was it Mercenary or Legacy?

Okay, I'm now finding elite equipment. I guess it was just a combination of bad luck and impatience on my part. I appreciate the replies.

A word of caution: The availability of high-tech items is one of the things which is occasionally "adjusted" to maintain a balance in game play. In other words, after you've updated the game, some of the things you found yesterday might not be where you found them (check the change log for important adjustments).

That and also some inherent variability to the marketplaces. Rather than having a static inventory of the same items all the time in the same locations, there is a factor of intermittent availability to provide elements of realism and opportunity to the market and inventory systems. So there can be hunting, research, and exploration all involved in the process of finding particular equipment items that may be more scarce due limited industry types and production.
