Gaining own system (Evochron, the first one)

Well. From the official HTML-Manual for the first Evochron:
„Own Your Own Territory
Once you reach a very wealthy status, you may want to buy an entire system to exploit for your own gain. Fly around the entire system you want and locate every hostile ship you can find, then pay bribes until they are all allied with you. The ships will then just fight each other and leave you alone to go whever you want and mine any asteroids without interference. A smart way to do this is to convert an entire system in an area where you might need a quick escape, such as in the middle of a group of hostile systems. You can then travel to a nearby hostile system for a quick contract or battle.

Am I understanding this right? When I bribe all red/yellow ships and convert they into green, I will NEVER be attacked in this system anymore, unless I attack someone self?

Gaining own system (Evochron, the first one)

Honnestly I don't know anything about this subject but considering as far as I am aware the most you can own in any Evochron game so far is the ship you fly.

I haven't see any true ownership of things be a thing. (e.g. Owning a station and managing it, nor having a permanent fleet, ...).
By that I would have to assume you can not own a system either.

To be honnest though. I am only familiar with the two latest installations of the Evochron Series, "Mercenary" & "Legacy".

You may want to be more specific to what version you are referring to.

These are the itterations of evochron as far as I understand it:
RiftSpace (2004)
Evochron (2005) - Discontinued
Evochron Alliance (2005)
Evochron Renegades (2007)
Evochron Legends (2009)
Evochron Mercenary (2010)
Evochron Legacy (2016)

Could you be more specific to which one of these you are referring to?

Although knowing Vice, whatever is in the HTML file included with the game is generally true.

If memory serves, yes, you can buy out a system like that using bribes to avoid combat/hostiles entirely.
