EL - Single Player - A ttracting friendly ships en mass

Post by pilotnewbextraordinaire »

Why does it seem like I have a huge entourage following me around everywhere? I can jump into a sector, throw down a sensor station, see maybe a green dot or two, go about my business and then go back to look at the nav map and see it lit up with friendlies? Even out in the middle of nowhere, with no friendlies in sight? I don't think it's the sensor station attracting them because I've jumped into a random sector and waited around for a bit to drop a station. Once I did, blam!, I have an unwanted posse.

This game is designed to simulate AI ships activity only in sectors which the human player currently located in. So, I suggest, that friendly ships will always randomly spawn around you every time you jump from sector to sector. That's just to simulate activity and fill with "life" even deep space. :)

So you are saying that these guys are the space equivalent of the paparazzi and that punching them in the face is acceptable?

If you attack them they will turn red and attack you.
