No, you'd be blocked entirely if it was. It could be just temporary low performance, high load, or something between your location and the server hindering performance.

Ok, new issue. I've downloaded it twice now and when I try to run it says "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program."

Hmm, may be something local to your connection then, sounds like the download was slow and/or then interrupted. Send me a quick e-mail and I'll set up a more direct link for you. If that doesn't work for whatever reason, I can probably send it to you via dropbox.

I often have the same problem. In fact, this latest full update was the only time since the game's release where the download only took a few minutes ... and wasn't corrupted. Usually it takes an hour or more. I guess it all depends on what time of day you decide to download.

If this helps to narrow anything down, My copy is from Steam and each and every update has been downloaded fast and no corruption. I even validated it a few times no issues. If the issues are localized to the non steam download CDN then I guess I helped

The fact that the file was corrupted indicates phone line faults either between the two parties or just Radikal's home.
This shouldn't really affect too many people.

For people who do experience such issues frequently you may wish to consider using a platform like steam. Who have dedicated functions to find and fix faults within the code without redownloading the whole program.

Oh yea.. I cannot STRESS ENOUGH... how many times validating a games files on steam saved me from a 16-52GB complete re-install. Especially if you have skyrim or anything else like the Witcher 3 GTA V any large game which is modded to death and its modded so hard that you have no idea which scripts or configs were defaults anymore, you go and remove everything you possibly can only to remember some mods made changes to the original game data so you validate and presto you got yourself 10mb of file to download and the game works again.

Steam is not always an option, my game system is totally air-gapped right now.
I download game files from offsite with a 5Mb DSL line.
No problem with game downloaded from dropbox.

If you have access to Steam on another system then just download via steam and then copy over the game directory to your air-gapped system.
