X52 Pro

Post by mantra »

i am having this problem with my X52pro , none of the axis are working. it detects something from the throttle but thats it, im running windows 7.

ive tried for 2 hours to get it to work and no luck and the suggested workarounds are only more frustrating.

Elite dangerous does a super fine job of supporting this controller seamlessly and i wouldn't play without it, and i cant play EL without it so i hope theres support for it soon

Plenty of people using the X52 Pro on Windows 7, it's a good controller for this game. Are you saying none of the axis channel indicators in the menu move when you move the stick? If so, your device may be on another device ID. This game supports up to 10 simultaneous devices at a time, so you may just need to find which ID Windows has it assigned to. Use the left and right arrows at the top of either the axis configuration menu or the key/button configuration menu to switch around device ID's and find the one your X52 is on.

I use an X52Pro with W7 64 bit

Occasionally I have a problem with parts of the set up not working - it's always been the plugs. Make sure the USB plug/socket is tight (I had to buy a new USB hub) Also check that the throttle to stick plugs are tight - the stick can work loose in the excitement of rapid manouvres or if you move either to one side between sessions. You may need to reload the game after fiddling
