Evochron Legacy now have some of dynamic systems.
(economy, build and destroy, faction war)
however they can be drive by not player (NPC) hands ?
or they only drive by players ?

in single player.
if it not touch by NPC hand, it seem to not challengeable and not dynamic universe...

If the game is running, it's dynamic. AI battel AI and, in doing so, can change a star systems affiliation. It's something you can watch in one of the Information Console options.

Servers also have an option to simulate changes to commodity prices,
` economy/technology levels, and territory control levels. These are options in single player too.

ArkBlade:

From the manual it says this:
The simulation options let you select which elements you want the game to adjust regional values for during gameplay. The Evochron quadrant is divided into 500X500 sector regions for economy/technology, trade, and territory factors. Each region is given an ID number that can be viewed in the nav console's quadrant map mode (more information on these options is available in the nav console section below). Commodity price changes will simulate fluctuations in pricing offsets for the various commodities available in the game's inventory. Price offsets will go up and down in a pattern of supply and demand throughout the various regions in the Evochron quadrant. Economy/technology level changes will simulate variations in each region's overall economic and technological status, which in turn can impact certain pricing conditions, contract pay, and available weapons/equipment. Territory control level changes simulate changes in territory control between the Alliance and Federation based on randomly generated regional combat results. You can optionally disable any of these options to allow for changes only as a result of your actions.
This is something we'll have to if Vice chimes in. It does say randomly for the battles, but i'm not sure if there are different weights assigned to some of the parameters for the random number generator.

thank you.
i think game need new mechanism like "world event".

eg) war, economy crysis, space gold rush, etc...
it will sometimes setting "Concentration change Area"(that area have more frequently change) and make unique NPC activity in that sector.
and in-game news secton add to that announcement. "sector [xxx] is now war area!"

If you hit F3 and go into your Inv, then click on News/Information -> System Information -> Regional News.

current Regional News is tell all changes of each category.
it is just result only. so we don't know "Concentration change Area" and it seem to not present in the current game...

Ok I reread the question and did some googling. Those changes I believe are the result of random "battles". The fighting is wherever you want it to be though based on the % of control in the sector you're in.

In disputed regions, both factions will have a presence in the area and you can expect reinforcements from your faction to show up at combat contract waypoints to help out periodically. If you don't see any initially, waiting briefly before engaging in combat can give friendly reinforcements time to arrive at the waypoint. In regions where the opposing faction has primary control, no reinforcements will be available. As you destroy enemy ships, the territory control level will shift. Once the level reaches disputed, allied forces will beging to enter the area to provide support. By destroying enemy stations and cities then building your own, you can help accelerate territory control gains by introducing new contract options and equipment/weapon/trade support.

So you can bring the fight whereever you want, just go attack the opposite team. Probably not the answer you're looking for, sorry. I hope you figure it out.

thank you, i already know on the document.
Therefore this is a feature request.
and current system seem to make static if once you (and your faction) take all regions.

Any advice on whether or not turning on the dynamic economic systems makes the game harder for new players? I'm about to start Legends for the first time and don't know what settings to use. I played Mercenaries quite a few years ago so I'm a little foggy on how it all works.

Thanks.
