Hello Vice,
Thank you very much for creating such an astonishing game. Im really hooked to the game and I really regret I didnt know much about your series of games before. Im completely new to the series and your view of how a good space game should be.

May I ask what are your future plans for this game. Is there a roadmap to further improve the game in terms of content and mechanics?

I read that you only release finished games, and you rather diferentiate from the rest of the game insustry in which we see many games unfinished to get released with "more to come later" attitude.

Are you going to improve and load this game with more things or "this is it guys" and leave the rest to pontential modders?

Thank Vice
Have a nice and productive day.

Hi Marnikos,

I'm sure Vice will answer you himself, but I can tell you that he never abandons his games after they are released. He continuously updates it with patches and improvements to correct bugs and sometimes to add new features. He is always in touch with the feedback from the community, and will often introduce requested gameplay features if it's feasible within the codebase and the overall context of the game. And the incredible thing is that all the updates are free... unlike the majority of big industry games.

Yeah, with Evochron Mercenary he released a big update to it because he had started looking forward towards the next game (Legacy) and when it was decided he would start from scratch he back ported a bunch of the new stuff into Mercenary, for free. That's why you'll see EM referred to EM2 sometimes, or EM 2.0.

My wallet is always open for his games, he has a customer for life. Whereas Frontier has lost a customer for life. I was thinking about getting Horizons when comes down to $15-$20, which is inevitably will, but I'm seriously reconsidering that.

I'm just waiting for the mods to come out for EL. There are some really talented people in the community and you'll see all sorts of cool tools, HUDs, cockpits, ships, and textures, even sounds like radio chatter. Vice had the forethought to make modding extremely simple for this game which will give it a lot of replay-ability and carry it for years into the future.

Vice has always listened to the community and corrected bugs and added new things and refined others - I suspect he'll continue with EL

I would like to continue working on Legacy as long as it remains feasible to do so. I don't have a precise roadmap as to exactly what I'll do, a lot depends on how long it remains a viable way for me to work full time on it and have it provide for my family. But I'd hope to be able to continue working on it for some time to come, including feature updates and any bug fixes that might be needed.

Right now, I'm focused on making sure things work well, so primarily functionality improvements and some bug fixes.

Thank you all for your answers and especially you, Vice, for answering my question!

I hope you will continue to provide to the game and I wish the best for you and your family.

You deserve any success!
