Engineering lab blueprint not working

so i went through the trouble of getting a blueprint from requesting info from alot of npcs then i went and gathered all the materials required and the game is refusing to craft my blueprint?
"no compatible item can be constructed"

i forgot to find the electronics it worked fine after i got them
