Hello,
I downloaded the demo and installed it on my computer yesterday as soon as I learned it is out.
I started the game and I was informed that I installed the game in demo mode and I had 89 minutes to test it. So far so good.
I created a pilot, I loaded him from and the game menu, it went to some initialization phase. When it reached to the point "Collar released" or something, my PC froze. I couldnt start task manager, I couldnt exit, I couldnt Alt-TAB. My only choice was to power off-power on my computer. Not big deal, to be honest sometimes my PC do that when playing some heavy-graphics games (i.e. ED).
My PC restarted and I tried to re-run the game, only to find out that my game time expired! How can this happened? I didnt even get out to the virtual world.
A new screen appears telling me that I have to buy it since no time left! The other option is to exit. Shame, I was eager to try this great game. So Im stuck, I cannot play-test the game.
Is there anthing I can do to reset the timer?
I have no other PC to try it. I tried to reinstall it but still I cannot play.
PC specs: XeonQuadCore @ 3.2GHZ, 8GB ram, 128SSD Disk (evochron installed on it), GTX 760-2GB
Thank you Vice!
Anyhow Im planning to buy it, but I want to test how it will permorf in my crappy computer.
Regards
Nikos

Evochron Legacy Demo problem
Not really sure why it would behave that way, could be anything from bad memory, to the SSD having problems or being full, to something with the sound system. Just delete the \\sw3dg\\EvochronLegacy save data folder to start over. Initially, I would suggest turning down the detail first in the Options menu. See if that then allows things to finish. Otherwise, I'd probably want to look at a msinfo32 report on that system to try and find a potential cause.

Evochron Legacy Demo problem
Thank you for your response Vice.
I didnt need the demo to justify whether I want to buy it or not. I just wanted to check if it will run ok on my system.
I solved the problem by, buying the game from Steam
Everything is working! The game looks fantastic, and it runs super smooth
Now I have to go back playing it!!
Keep up the good work!
Have a very nice day!!
My best regards
