My joystick throttle (Thrustmaster HOTAS X) has a deadzone in the middle, which is the default position (i.e. it is uncomfortable when held back behind this point).
This is interpreted by the game as 50% thrust. Can I configure it to treat it as the 0% thrust mark? (and ideally to intepret the throttle behind that point as reverse)
I have it configured like this in Elite Dangerous and it is awesome.
EDIT:
Dev responded on same post on Steam forums with:
"Yes, just press the right shift key and it will change your throttle to full range (R next to IDS on the left cockpit display), which allows the middle to be 0%, positive values for positive velocity levels for flying forwards, negative values for negative velocity levels for flying backwards."
Therefore, this thread is answered.

HOTAS X - throttle midpoint is treated as 50% - can I change it to 0%?

Yes, as in the other post, simply switch to the full range throttle mode. Also works well with gamepads that have self-centering thumb sticks.
